Books on one side, toys on the other – and it rolls wherever your child plays.
Read full details
BERTA is a low, child-height Montessori shelf on wheels. On one side, the bottom, middle and top shelves are just deep enough to show books with their covers facing out – so even little ones can choose a story on their own and put it back again. The other side has deep shelves for toys and becomes a dollhouse, a shop, a car garage or a home for art supplies.
Soft, transparent rubber wheels turn around their own axis, roll easily and quietly and don't scratch the floor, so BERTA moves wherever play happens. Each wheel carries 40 kg, and the trapezoid shape keeps the shelf stable. Designed for ages 12 months to 8 years, it later works as a mobile changing station, a shoe rack or a home for school books.
Made of natural, durable birch plywood in Latvia by Luula.
